Vaginal Delivery- This type of delivery is the most common and is preferred in most circumstances. However, in some instances, a C-Section might be deemed the safer alternative and would be done in those cases.
C-Section (Cesarean Section)-This is a surgical procedure that is done under anesthesia which involves removing the baby through an incision in the abdominal wall. If your doctor feels a C-Section is necessary, he will discuss the reasons with you.
VBAC (Vaginal Birth after Cesarean Section)- This can be discussed with your Doctor.
Vaginal birth after Cesarean Section is often successful, but carries some risk of uterine rupture. Some women are not appropriate candidates for VBAC.
